Different notebooks work best for different tasks. For classroom notes you might prefer lined pages and a light notebook; sketching usually needs plain paper and may benefit from a heavier paper weight.
Start with size. A5 is easy to carry for journaling and notes, while larger formats give more writing or drawing space. Next compare binding: spiral notebooks can open flat, and stitched or bound notebooks often have a different feel.
Paper weight is usually shown as GSM. A higher GSM can indicate a heavier sheet, but how ink behaves also depends on coating and other paper properties. Do not assume one GSM fits every marker or pen.
Count sheets and pages separately; one sheet has two sides. Check current listing details and customer feedback before choosing.
